Thanksgiving decorations

I've begun getting ready for Thanksgiving.  I love the colors of fall and decorating for this holiday is fun.  However, I don't have a lot of money and need to be creative with what I do.  Here are some ideas I have found that I think I might be able to do relatively inexpensively - maybe even with dollar store items.  What do you think?

I LOVE those candles - awesome idea!

I have no idea how they did this on the tablecloth - but you can bet I'll figure it out.  Check out the centerpiece of the corn husks.  I know that won't cost that much money.  I just love this idea!!  Upon further reading - click here for instructions on how to do that tablecloth and corn husk centerpiece.

Not sure how I'm going to decide - love this as well.  This would not be all that much money - it's simple and beautiful.

This is using subway art.  I like the color on this one.  The tablecloth underneath is a canvas drop cloth.  Very cool idea!

There are plenty more ideas out there - these are just 4 I could see elements I could incorporate without spending a lot of money.  I really like the quoted tablecloth and the candles.  I don't know how much burlap is and I hope I can write fancy enough to make it look that beautiful - but if I can do that project for less   than 5.00 - I will do that one.  Love quotes and candles - what a great combination!  The candles look like a lot of work - but I don't think it would be terribly expensive to do especially if you can locate all the items at the dollar store.  Of course, as with anything else - even the small stuff adds up so there is a definite need to price everything out before starting anything.  I'll let you know what I end up with complete with pics.  Hopefully this week sometime, depending on my work schedule.  Would love for you to share your ideas as well!!

To keep the cost down . . what about doing a table runner instaed of a tablecloth? You could still do the words around the runner (make it a little wider than normal) The candles would go down the center of the runner? I'm trying to think of a way to do the candle idea that won't cost $10.00 for candles . . .but I'm coming up blank! I really like the pumpkin table - you can find the tall holders that they are sitting on at the dollar store - then you can spray paint them if you want. Lots of great ideas though - you inspire me to decorate for Thanksgiving!

You could always check second hand stores for the candles. Sometimes they'll have them....just a thought. ;)
